5812G/J / 5980G /J Release

Hi,

A few months after Patek announced the discontinuation of the 5711 (and of course the whole green and Tiffany limited colors dial craze), they unveiled the 5811 in full white gold. Interestingly, both the discontinuation of the 5711 and the introduction of the 5811 happened in October, and not during W&W.

More recently, the 5712/1A was officially discontinued, though the rose gold version, the 5712R, is still listed in the catalog.

We also have the 5980 in white gold, but with a denim-style strap rather than a full gold bracelet.

So here’s my big question:
What do you think Patek’s next move with the 5712 will be?
Will we see a 5812 in full white gold or a different configuration already later this year? Perhaps will patek wait longer?
Or alternatively, would they offer the 5980 in full gold on a bracelet? Now they also got the cubitus line but maybe hard to believe they’ll completely cut off the 5712 design?

Right now just 2 full SS (men’s) Nautilus left in their catalog- 5726 and 5990.

Anyone with insider info is welcome to share and I’d love to hear your collector theories too.
Which direction do you think Patek will take and how soon until it will be released?

It’s refreshing to see Patek bringing back iterations of the 5980. The 5990 dial is a little too busy in my opinion.
