16713 Root Beer spring bar issue

Hi Guys!
I’m about to pull the trigger on this one, but I noticed in a few of the seller’s photos that the spring bar is slightly visible outside the lug.
Is this considered acceptable in your opinion? I know everything depends on price, condition, etc., but I’m wondering—was this common for late ’90s models? Thanks!

Yikes. That’s too much. Either lug is ground down or that’s spring bar is jacked.

Yeah, my observation too. However judging by the pictures alone the lung look ok to me so it might be the bar.

You want to focus more on the thickness of the lug than on the protruding spring-bar. Sometimes people use the wrong spring-bars.

It's the wrong spring bar.

Change it to the bars with shorter pivots and all will be fine.

Great movie.
Clint Eastwood wore his personal TT GMT all of the time, including on Firefox.

That's why the TT Rootbeer GMT has been nicknamed the Clint Eastwood for decades.

Yes! Also in In the line of fire!
BTW the seller changed the wrong spring bar and everything looks fine. Trigger pulled.
I’ll give you an update when the watch arrives :-D
