The 6159G is stunning

Check out the dial in this short 23s video and how lights bounce off it

That's certainly a watch that will strive in the metal. I'm eager to hold one.

I love this.
I don’t think I will have a chance to buy this, so my best hope to see more of it is if you add one to your impressive collection and share pictures often :)

As much as I like this reference, I'm tied up with independents at the moment. Would love to add at some point though this piece is stunning

Looks very nice indeed in the video. The hobnail surround is angled which gives a nice impression -better than the front-on pictures. Also the features visible under the grey metallized crystal are less obtrusive than in the front-lit pictures. Pretty unique package IMO.

This was probably my favourite out of all the new releases.

Fantastic improvement on this reference. The nice thing too is that it should not be difficult to get eventually.

Although the previous references were very easily attainable on the secondary, given this watch and rarity do we think the same will really be true ?

In the world of Lange, their Lumen are extremely hard to obtain without purchase history or bundling. The 6159G is a retrograde pc and nicely sized at 39.5mm, and with only Patek 270 AD left, there will not be a lot of this reference out there. A quick check with my AD suggests more than a few interests in the list already (of course my AD could be lying). But again, who knows?

You may be right that this one may be a lumen dial you can buy without a whole lot of difficulty or expense beyond MSRP. I will say Patek loves this movement and has always showcased it over the years in such exciting presentations. The fully engraved cases and buckles are crazy nice. Given the prices of the 5496, 5059 and 5159 it will be interesting to see where these trade in about five years.

i do not think that the 6159P has the full lumen treatment which the langes have but i may be wrong. i have not seen a lume shot of the watch yet. anyway it is a nice watch, i am pleasantly surprised by PP

It'd be lovely if they used 240 instead of 26-330. They probably don't have a module developed for the 240 tho

This is beautiful. I would request one, but my AD turned into a Tourneau then lost their license with the consolidation.

Thanks,
NL

No central seconds on a 240.
