Which GS to get

Hi everyone, I am looking at getting a GS as a daily, wear anywhere watch as sometimes I cannot wear the daytona everywhere but I don’t know much about them, except they are highly rated.

Is there a particular model that is super popular and people rate highly ?

Personally, I would rate the Snowflake as the perfect Grand Seiko to wear everyday.

It's made of Titanium so it's super lightweight, has a 20mm lug width so is a strap monster and I would argue, has one of the most beautiful dials in the world. That would be my pick!

There are so many models, code numbers and combinations.

Where do I begin?

There are some I wouldn’t consider.

Titanium for example.

Way too light on my wrist.

Find a stockists and choose the one you like.

First decide if you want a mechanical, Spring Drive or 9F quartz movement, and take it from there.

Good place to start

Followed by what case - 62GS, evolution, 44GS, etc

Followed by what complication, if any. Time only, Dive, GMT, date, etc

Combine these criteria and you can narrow down to what suits you the best

Good luck and let us know what you decide
