Hey there from Georgia!
My name is Sean!
I’m new here to TRF. I’m mostly into vintage watches but my favorite watch is my Speedmaster 3861. I just picked up my first Rolex (from TRF) a 16013. It’s the watch that really started it all for me. When I was 8 my god father let me wear his two tone Datejust for an evening when I hit a milestone. I remember being super excited and my parents telling me “it was a very nice watch and that I needed to take care of it”. That night at the dinner party my parents gifted me a cheap no name quartz “submariner like” homage so I could have a “nice watch” of my own. I like to think that I’ve now come full circle in my watch journey. I bought my own 16013 to celebrate another milestone in my life. Thanks for having me! |

Curious what milestone you hit at 8yo? When I was 8, my dad took the training wheels off my bike. I guess that would have been a major milestone. |
