Elgin cal:777 two a penny?
Hi. I've only seen one Elgin cal:777 movement in a gents wristwatch. Case by Star Watch Case Company # 4268 - S151126. Are they two a penny or common? Could it have been made in the '50s? It is the one without a regulator - you have to slide weights up the balance arms. There is a drawing of such a balance in 'Bestfit' book #1 on page 640. So much rain here in the UK, I'll have to buy a rowing boat soon. Tylden.
