With GMT ll's and they are hard to get now as no dealers are carrying them. The new ceramic model has taken place. It is even harder to get with the 3186 newere movement as it was made for a short time only in that watch in some Z series and M series. You can find used ones in 5-7k range in US dollars.

u can buy new gmt2 in the u.s. 5,700-5,800 here in the forum. pepsi/coke. used ranging from 3,200-4,800.depending on the year model and condition of course. But you can still get a new one.. 16710..(non ceramic) the latest m series production has a 3186 movement same as the new gmt2 ceramic 116710..But it doesnt matter. 3185 and 3186 are both very reliable..

but rolex doesn't produce those watches anymore gmt2 coke/pepsi. you can still get a new one but no discount coz they are considered collectors item already, since there is no more production..

I have seen them for sale here on the forum but live in the netherlands and 99% of the sellers are in the states... Customs and VAT make the procedure very murky.... I had a nikon camera tied op for months at customs here.. It was very unpleasent. They opened the boxes up and handled the camera and repackaged it uncaringly...Imagine them handeling a new watch like that? Not a nice thought.. Maybe I was just unlucky....
Any good sellers in the UK??? There are good sellers here but the prices are not much cheaper then new AD buys.. The choice is also more limited to what I see here on the forum... pete |

So are you getting more comfy with buying used - say on TRF? You could buy used at an AD. but man...really spendy.
