Any one bought from gemnation.com?
I plan to buy a Rolex from them, since their price is much better than the best discount I can get from AD ( I negotiated about 5-10% off ), plus there is no sale tax. But my concern is the authenticity of the watch. The sales person at AD told me that some watches from grey market sellers had fake movements, even the cases (with original serial number) were authenticate.
So my biggest concern is, if I buy a watch from a grey market seller, how do I make sure that it is authentic? Any body experienced with this seller? I asked a local Rolext AD if they can do appraisal, and they said they didn't do it, and they had to sent it to the service center to do it. But I don't want to go through that trouble. |

I looked at For Sale section here for Explorer II; unfortunately the only Explorer II I found was sold the same day it was posted. Plus I have never bought Rolex before and I'm a bit worried about the authencitity if I buy from a private seller. So I might just try grey market seller.
