Serial numbers and Bezels.......
A TRF member Atl in January, sent his 2004 GMT in Dallas for servicing and requested a change of bezel from Black to a Pepsi but was told since the serial number says it was Black one, they wouldn't change it to a Pepsi. Can any body tell me, can you tell from the serial number what colour bezel the original was, or do the RSC just put the serial number of the watch and it would come up. Is that why they won't do it because it changes the original specification ? How do you tell if a used GMT has the right original colour bezel on it and not sporting a Pepsi, just to sell it ?

To refresh everbody..
You cannot tell by a serial number what insert any GMT came with.... The Dallas RSC did change their mind and will install any insert asked for...
