What does the Letter "Z" means?
Hi all,
I just bough a DD and starts with Z, I noticed some preowned ads mentioning letters like M, etc. What is the difference? Very informative forum, I learned a lot and it made me a better shopper, help me get a great deal too, at home to boot, I was ready to cross the border  .

All Z means that the watch case was stamped sometime between May 2006 and end of July 2007 and not necessarily the date when the watch was sold at AD.The M case date stamp is from August 2007 on so you could have a Z and M in the same year case date stamps are just a rough indication of year.

It was used and sold new in late 2008. I think maybe only the 348 models come with a bigger box, but I will ask my AD next week.
