Does Rolex RSC Still Service 1570 Movements?

Wondering if anyone knows? I am thinking about a service for my 1601 next year and trying to decide if I shoud go RSC or independent.

Thanks

Jim

RSC services all Rolex movements as long as the watch is original and real.

Well--All I can say is that there have been many examples of vintage models with old movements serviced by RSC's. I guess it depends on which center and if they have a tech certified to work on them perhaps--not sure. I was under impression that they do work on all Rolex movements as long as original and that they had technician to do so. I know they serviced my 1575 movement in 2008.

It's odd....Depending on who you talk to you get a different answer......
Years ago they would....Then they wouldn't.....Now some people are telling me they will????
I can't make heads or tails of it????
To be quite honest, when my 1665 finally is in need of a service, I don't think I would send it to Rolex anywhere in the USA.....
I have found them to be FAR to independent for my taste......

Mine was serviced by Rolex of London RSC in 08. I would not just want anyone to work on them. I know Bob Ridley in Texas is supposed to be one of the best in the business if someone was looking outside of an RSC.

The independent, but licensed through Rolex service ctr. San Francisco will work on older Rolexes.
I had them service & renovate my two 1655's & they do great work.

He is supposed to be one of the better ones out there and I have seen his work--awesome. There is also Four Crowns in Los Angeles. I would rather bring a vintage watch to one of them or another strong independent that you can talk to so they do not replace anything you want kept vintage!! Would hate to wake up with a polished watch with new hands!!!
