Anyone send in a 18K Rolex for service

Has anyone sent in a 18K Rolex for service, how picky was the RSC, about replacing the bracelet, if it had some stretch. Did it come back looking as good as new?

Have done that several times; results have always been amazing! As far as bracelet or dials; they would suggest those changes but will do so only if you agre to it. If you accept it; they keep the original/worn parts.

I would certainly hope that if they keep your old 18K bracelet that the new price would reflect the inherant gold value of the old. Or maybe it isn't that much but would certainly seem to be much more than a SS one.

I've heard there is a discount with the "trade-in" method vs. a new bracelet purchase.

I have sent before my 18K YG President for service at RSC Jakarta. The result was amazing...RSC Jakarta can offer to repair stretched bracelet too, but I never use that service as mine is still tight...
