TT GMTIIc or TT Sub c Blue Dial or Black Dial
TRF, this is a two part question.
First, I am not sure which watch to purchase TT GMTIIc or TT Sub c. Could you assist with this decision ? Second if I chose the TT Sub c, which has the best look for everyday use from Jeans to Business Suit? I value all opinions because this decision is very important to me. I bought a SS GMTIIc last May but want to upgrade to a TT. Thanks, OTREE-1 |

All are great..
My choice in order would be:
1- TT Sub Blue (I love the blue personally) 2- TT GMTc 3- TT Sub Black Try them all on. You'll find the winner |

Great choices IMO.
If I go for a sports TT, I'd get First - TT SubC black Second - TT GMTIIC third - TT SubC blue |

For a TT you have to get the TT GMT IIc, the bezel in the gold is nothing but amazing Lots of flash but nothing compared to the blue Sub C (which I owned, the blue just drew too much attention to my wrist IMO).
For me it would be: 1. GMT IIc 2. Sub C Black 3. Sub C Blue

TT Sub, black dial. IMO a little bit more steathly than the TT GMT. I think it would go better with suits.

If you already have a SS GMT IIC and plan to keep it, get the TT SUBC so you'll have variation.

I vote for the GMT IIc, it's the best all-around watch sans diving.

Not a fan of the new blue on the Sub myself, so I would rank it 116713 first, 116613LN second and 116613LB third

Subc's dial and bezel is not so busy compared to the GMTc.
For a TT sub, it has to be the blue one. The black is fine, only too close to the SS and since you are going for the TT, go all out with the bluesy. The blue dial and bezel is simply glorious under the sun, and the combination of yellow gold and blue is just so beautiful |

No doubt at all....:
The best Rolex in TT IMHO....The colours are perfect...great feel on the wrist...and wears easily with smart or casual....

You need to try them on at the dealer. I went to the ad last year to look at the tt sub and ended up with the gmt c tt. As others have said, I find the bezel amazing and the tt sub did not seem to sit as well on my wrist. Love my tt gmt c. But I did succumb to watch fever again this year and got the ss sub c. Now I can't really explain it, but I personally liked the sub c better in ss and it seems to wear differently than the tt sub c. I also do not like the blue color of the subc tt ( nut love the look on the white gold sub). So I would personally vote for the tt gmtc.

When in doubt, try them all on at your local AD. I have no doubt you will know which is the right one for you. You will find great prices here from trusted sellers.

Thanks TRF
Guys, I want to thank you all for your valuable information. I have made my decision and it is the TT Black Sub. This watch IMO is versatile and I can wear it with anything and it will compliment what I'm wearing. Simple but not too simple, classic style with a hint of contemporary. I Will be picking it up tomorrow. THANKS AGAIN TRF!!!!!!

I'd pick black, and since you already have a GMT, maybe the Sub. To me, black is a much cleaner contrast with gold and a good semi-dress look, but a tt black GMT or Sub still works for casual wear. The blue always looks casual.
