Explorer 2 - How long should it run for when not being worn?
I have an explorer 2, purchased new in april this year.
I don't wear it every day but when I do I wind it 20 times, wear it all day and take it off at night. It usually stops after about an hour. Is this normal? |

Normal no, but 20 winds will not fully wind a stopped watch,to fully wind 40 full crown turns clockwise only. Then watch should run appox 39-48 hours when off wrist before stopping, try that first to check power reserve is OK.And by wearing your watch if not reasonable active you will only top the power reserve to whatever its reserve was when started.

Welcome to TRF.
In order to completely wind a watch it should be wound 40 times. The your Rolex should run for another 42 to 48 hours if it is not worn or wound any further. If your watch is stopping after only an hour after coming off your wrist then it sure does sound as if something is wrong. If you bought it new from an AD earlier this year then it should be covered by warranty. I would take it in and talk to my AD.

Thanks. I'll try fully winding it, if that doesn't work I'll take it back to my AD.
