Sub C LV is for everyone?

Do you think that the Sub C LV is for all ages? or is the youth James Bond wana-be watch? in other words is it the newer generations Submariner? or is it a mistake by Rolex?
I would love to know your opinions

I think it's a mater of taste, not age. If you like the Sub in green, you should go for it. Why would it be a mistake by Rolex?

I'm 37. Not sure where that puts me in your opinion. But I love my lvc and believe it is a watch for all. Then again, I'm glad it's relatively limited because I enjoy the fact that I have yet to see another one live.

Well the Sub has been the most bought watch in the sports line up for decades and worn by anyone.Myself not a huge fan of the ceramic sub the new clasp could prove to be a improvement in a few more years of testing in the field. The ceramic insert well its just a insert and functions the same the aluminium one.The movement basically the same as the 16610 except for the in-house escapement parts not sure about the new style case and now quite a price hike price.

I'm not a fan of the ceramics. Each person should wear what appeals to them and try to worry less about what other people think.

I don't think age makes a difference. I'm starting to really like the green 'Hulk' sub... wasn't sure at first but it's winning me over. As for Rolex making a mistake, it's popularity here on TRF seems to show that it was no mistake! Now I wander if the question should be, will the Sub C LV be popular still in 10 or 20 years time?!

39 here and love my Submariner C LV. A good friend of mine in his late 50s just picked one up and he loves it. I don't think age has anything to do with it and it certainly isn't a mistake by Rolex. Look at the white gold with a blue dial. I happen to love that watch also but to some the blue is a little much as well. It is all about personal taste.

21 here and I love the Sub-C LV. The LV really does sing to me. I can't really explain it. I actually prefer smaller watch, and generally don't like loud watch. But the IWC Big Pilot and LV are really the the only exceptions for me.

hmmmm....not convinced the idea was to create an $8K "youth" rolex....

it's pretty simple: green = rolex......quintessential rolex = submariner.......green = submariner

(oh, and, yes, i LOVE the hulk. )

A green watch will never be favored by "everyone." It is only going to appeal to certain taste. A black dial / bezel watch is for "everyone."

IMO, the Sub C LV is for all people, all ages !
As a matter of fact, the bigger case will please younger people and the green golden dial is for older people ! So everyone can buy its way in owning and wearing this stunning watch.
