Leather strap for 16520?
I'm looking for a leather strap for my white dial 16520. I'm leaning to black and would like one with a clasp like the newer WG Daytonas. I found a few on EBay (aftermarket) but I'm not sure how it would look without the end links.
Would I be able to find straps with ss end links or that would fit on the current end links? Any recommendations/advice would be highly appreciated.

Daytona Straps don't come with either the end-links or the clasp..
The end-links are a part of the Daytona case and cannot come off without taking the watch apart. The clasps are reused from strap to strap..

No reason Etur's end pieces can't do the job, is there?

Thanks, where can I find Eugene's end links? EBay? TRF?

If you have a SS, that means it comes with the SS bracelet. AFAIK you do not need to remove the bezel etc. to change the strap.
Another option without buying end links would be to check out a "curved" strap that covers the hole at the lugs. I forget who makes it, but I was interseted when I was looking for a strap for my Daytona. I ended up getting a $20 strap from panatime and still have it. I just couldnt find a nice clasp to go with it so I never really mounted it. |
