Visit with Fr. John

My wife and I had a chance to visit Fr. John and his lovely wife today in their home. I'm pleased to report that he is in good spirits and getting around his home well in a wheel chair. He said that it will be several more months before he is fully "vertical" (his humor) , but he said he is healing nicely.

As Fr. John is a friend to so many here on the forum I wanted to pass on the good report. Cheers, Bill P.

Thanks, Bill. I'm glad to hear he's doing well. It was Father John who suggested I join TRF. I consider him a friend.

That photo of Fr. John was taken yesterday at his home in a t shirt while he is recovering from his surgery. Here is a more proper pic of our friend Fr. John. Cheers, Bill P.

Bill,

We always enjoy being with you two and were greatly blessed by your visit yesterday.

Although our wives do not share our watch-mania, we have to remind them that it was this site that introduced us four years ago.

Fr. John†

Glad to hear. Although I've never corresponded with him, I owe a good portion of my Omega knowledge to reading his various posts. Best wishes.

Fr. John was the first to help me with information regarding an Omega purchase. His informative advice was greatly appreciated and there have been no regrets with my purchase. Very glad to hear the "Omega Man" is on the mend.

The best,

J. Alan
