Hello. Aside from the obvious, can you please advise the difference between the two models? I want to know everything please. Thanks.

Except for the FIXED bezel in the Exp-II, all else is the same, including the 3185 movment.

Ah yes, another small difference - the Exp-II is 39 mm as opposed to the 40 mm of the GMT-II.

I´ve heard the new GMT have Cal 3186, correct?

Another difference:

The Explorer II comes with two dial options: White and black.

The GMT II (16710) comes with a black dial ONLY.

I wonder if bezel is removed, would we find the exp II has the hole for the spring clip so a GMT II bezel can be inserted? I will be really impressed if they're different. Its certainly more economical to machine one case and insert different accessories.
