Need help with authenticity with Cellina

I had an aunt who passed away and we found this watch while going through her things. She was fairly wealthy and enjoyed the finer things in life, which is why I feel as if this may be real. I don't know how to take the band off to see if there is a serial number between the band and watch. Thanks for your help!

Not familiar with it, but if it's real I presume it would be pretty hefty. Does it feel substantial? Are there papers with it?

It has a good weight to it, then again, I'm not sure what I'm comparing it to. We haven't found any papers, although we haven't search the entire house.

This thread will wind up in the "Watch Out" section where questions like this are answered, so don't be surprised or offended.

This is my first time to the site. If it's against the rules to post this, I will delete it. Also, is it really "One of a kind?"

It's okay to post such threads, it's just that they should go in "Watch Out" and a mod will be happy to move it for you.

Whether it is truly one of a kind might be questionable, but what I think Tony is saying is that it's not authentic.

I would have to concur, even with my limited knowledge.

Hello Tar Heels.

I am also a Tar Heel. I grew up in Chapel Hill and graduated from UNC.

Unfortunately, that watch is very fake. Worthless, except for sentimental value or telling time.

Was your Aunt an NC State fan? Just kidding of course.

Chris

Afraid no genuine Cellini looked like that.
