Icon2 fs: Patek Philippe 5100R 10-Day 18k Rose Gold MILLENIUM EDITION of 750 pcs VERY RARE

Good day, TRF!

Formalities out of the way first: Overnight shipping and insurance are included in US, will ship overseas, but at the buyer's expense. Price quoted is for payment by bank wire, PayPal/credit cards are OK, but buyer pays the fees (typically around 3% of amount, higher for AMEX). Returns accepted if the watch is misrepresented in ANY way. Have TONS of references, on and off TRF. Face-to-face in Southern Ohio or Northern Kentucky is fine, we can meet at an AD if that makes you comfortable. PM me, email at Greg@caliberswiss.com , or call/text me at 513 680 6239 with any questions ~ Greg

mint, complete and VERY rare

Patek Philippe ‘Manta Ray’ 5100R Ten-Day Power Reserve

Millenium Edition of 750 Pieces in 18k Rose Gold

Ref 5100R-001 ~ priced at $62500

Made only in the year 2000 to commemorate the new millennium, this piece signified horological advances by featuring a complicated dual-barrel movement with an extended 10-day power reserve. Both barrels are tightened simultaneously by a ‘clutch’ which employs a ‘slipping spring’ fitted to the first winding barrel, thus preventing over-winding. Due to extreme power created by the double barrel system, 29 jewels are placed at critical points in the mechanism to ensure stability, accuracy, and diminish effects of friction. The case was inspired by Patek reference 2554, which was referred to as ‘Manta Ray’, and is very uniquely shaped. This is a truly special piece, highly sought-after collectible. Please note that this reference was also made in Yellow gold (5100J), but there were twice as many of those produced as in Rose gold, making this version just that much more special.

actual watch for sale, more pics below

CONDITION: Mint, case is near-flawless. Never polished and does not need to be. Crystal is impeccable. Strap is unworn, buckle is perfect. Mechanically faultless, runs within chronometer specs, consistent throughout the entire power reserve. Pictures are of the actual watch for sale.

RARE COMPLETE SET: correct special edition inner and outer boxes with the ‘2000 Patek Philippe Geneve’ hallmarks; all documents/booklets in a burgundy leather folder: ‘Collector’s Library,’ ‘Distributors’ booklet, un-filled ‘Register of Patek Philippe Owners’ pamphlet with accompanying envelope, proper Certificate of Origin with matching numbers, specific hardbound book including the 5100 instruction manual, movement description, and a chronometer certification with matching numbers; and a sealed plaque containing the commemorative coin medallion with its stand. The complete set was kept in immaculate shape, nothing misplaced or misused, collector’s dream!
