Say WUT !?!?!

I love my 116613 it's not going anywhere at twice the price

INCOMING TOMORROW by the way

Thanks Howe, but a lot of people on here know already and as far as being collectible...still waiting for someone to give why it wouldn't be. It might take awhile for the market to dictate

Sunburst or not, I still prefer blue over black when it comes to TT subs.

x2!

and, i'll add that the more i see the sunburst blue with ceramic bezel, the more i prefer the flat blue.

also, as for black TT sports models, IMHO, if you want black TT, go with the GMTIIc.

Yes

Buy all of them, you wil clean up!

And as I answered in the last poll, I would buy neither as I do not like two tone watches

Not differentiate the two shades of blue. Can someone explain?
And what is new and what is old?

It's old news around here. It was revealed at Basel and has been much discussed on this forum. We told you about this in your other thread and now you start this one to report the "news" back to us? Howe, this is your 2nd poll today asking if you should go blue dial or black and you were given a lot of responses already. You're an 18 year old buying a $13K watch and it's sounding like you want a bunch of strangers on the internet to pick it for you. Here's my advice - if you can't make up your own mind then you shouldn't buy a watch until you do.

Sorry if this sounds harsh but that's the best advice I got. I wish you well in your decision.

I agree. Two polls within 24hrs asking basically the same question.

Anyway, I still prefer any blue over black however I like the smurf's flat blue over the new metallic blue.

Wouldn't it be fantastic if there was a way to put in some key words and have the computer give you a list of all the threads about the "new" "dial" "blue" "sunburst" "116613"

Here's a comparison of the Smurf on the left (that apparently is not getting a dial change) with the new dial on the TT Sub taken by Percy from r-l-x I found in this thread: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...70#post4115870

I think it (Flat Blue TT) will only become truly collectable if people want it more that what they can buy new or maybe in time.

Just because they are no longer made does not automatically make them collectable or desireable.

Either way I can think of many other things to tie up $14K that will give me a better return than that if that is the only reason you are looking to buy one.

I would take the new and the old blue over the TT black.
Great combo. The new blue even more so.

Although Black would definitely be my choice, going back to the Sunburst Blue is the correct decision by Rolex.

With all the love for the blue, I'll go against the grain and say that I really don't like the blue/gold combination. Every combination of blue on gold looks off to me with the worst being the blue Arabic Daytona. I would choose the black in this case without any hesitation, in fact, the TT black SubC is actually my favourite TT at the moment.
