Have to agree mate just get rid of the polished bezel replaced it with the simple black aluminum insert like the 6263, then IMHO you would have a great looking Daytona.

From your mouth (or hands, typing) to Rolex's ears......wouldn't that be a great looking modern Daytona!!!!

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Have previously owned the current incarnation of the Daytona and it never really grabbed me.....something was missing. The black outline on the sub-dials vs the silver just makes the watch look like its suppose to.

What do you guys think which year, or serial of 16520 is the most sought after?

If you are lucky enough to find à Patrizzi from 1994, it.s a must have. Some series like the X one are very rare in black. Usualy, production of black is less than white.

Personally, I prefer the Non SEL version with the Tritium T-25 dial inserts.
