1 - Ceramic bezel-no bling for tool wach

2 - Polished center link-no-look point 1.

3 - Green writing-I agree with Bo for red insciption...or double red...

4 - 42mm case-Could anyone tell me why 42 is good, I thought 40 mm oyster case is just perfect exception from global trend for big watches

5 - Maxi dial-Yes-the most useful indeed!

I think the "Rolex" should be in green this year to celebrate 100 years of the Rolex name. I would like to see ceramic bezel, bigger lugs, new clasp, maxi dial. Not particularly polished centre links but my AD says they are all going to get them.

That's a good idea actually

Hope that this year rolex will manufacture a ceramic bezel with a different colour except black cause black colour is getting a bit boring

Sorry hope they leave the SD and Subs as they are, they have stood the time for 30 plus years with very little change. And the simple easy to replace and far cheaper insert will do for me.Fat hands, thin hands, lug holes, non lug holes, maxi dial, ceramic bezel and CRB are purely cosmetic its the engine that counts, and will the 2mm really make much difference.

Agreed. I say minor changes, like CRB, colored lettering, etc are good for special releases, etc, but it is a classic. I'm one of the few that think the ceramic shouldn't come to the SD and Sub. I like it on the gmt and ym, but doesn't seem right on the first waterproof watch in the world. Just my 1 cent (not worth 2).

Why is that? Ceramic is pretty sturdy isn't it? It's also not impacted by saltwater. That was discussed earlier in the Sub discussion

Why ???? Kurt, Cermaic is supposed to be impervious to water, sun, corrosion, scratching and depending on the ceramic impacts!!! Actually Ceramic can be as tough as steel if not more as it will keep the finish and not scratch as steel can?

1 - Ceramic bezel: No. What's wrong with current version? What's the big deal over a bezel made from a teacup?

2 - Polished center link. NO!

3 - Green writing. No. it should be red.

4 - 42mm case. Maybe.

5 - Maxi dial. YES.
