New Datejust!

Well to be honest it's my 1992 TT DJ. After reading the threads on TRF I decided to have it serviced since it was almost 10 years since the last service. Just like everyone here said it looks like new! What an absolutely gorgeous job RSC/Dallas did polishing it. They also needed to replace the crown and ?stem, I don't recall exactly but I couldn't be more pleased. They also returned the accuracy to standards (or so they said; we'll see) as it was running 10 seconds fast a day. Now I know you all want pictures but remember I SUCK at watch pictures so none for now but I'll work on it in the next few days. BTW, it cost $572 and I got an RSC certificate with a one year warranty; well worth it to me for a job well done. Thank you TRF for that recommendation!

Me too, I want pics. I just sent my TT DJ off the the RSC for service this past Saturday. I can't wait to get it back. I didn't have a chance to take before pictures, but I will send out after photos. I'm glad you are well satisfied. It makes my separation anxiety bearable.

I'm going to give it a whirl when I get home today. My wife does a better job with her camera and her macro function. She's got great close-ups of her flowers. Although everyone here has been very kind when I posted my pics I know the pics suck and it makes me sick when I see what the members here can do. Brian, you are going to be absolutely delighted when you get that watch back. Mine was not in horrible shape but it definitely had "wear" signs on the case, tiny scratches and dings. Now the case looks NEW and the jubilee bracelet sparkles. The gold bezel shines brilliantly. No word of a lie, it looks brand new! I spent an hour yesterday examining it with reading glasses and a big magnifying glass. The only imperfection I could find was a slight mark on the gold bezel, impossible to see with the naked eye. And the best news is that when the AD took it in they said allow up to 3 months. It took 4 weeks! It did help speed the process by me pre-authorizing any work under $1000.
