Icon20 New to the RF and Looking for Guidance

Hi,

New to the Rolex Forum. Great input and pics for Rolex lovers and those of us still hoping for our first.

I was hoping that someone out there could provide some guidance/recommendation on a Rolex AD they have had a good experience with in the New York City area. I have seen mixed reviews on several of the ADs in NYC (some have been noted as not even being able to properly size a watch!).

Thanks and looking forward to soon becoming one of the members on here posting my first Rolex!

Not sure exactly what you're lookinf for, is it servicer or a purchase? I'm not in NYC, but there's one I deal with here in Bergen County. Try Lee Perla at Riverside Square Mall, ask for Rick.

Wempe in Manhattan is very good. Ask for Gregg, young guy but knowledgeable and great people skills.

I ended up buying from Tourneau; long story.

Thanks for the feedback. Just to clarify I was looking for a recommendation for purchase. I don't yet own a Rolex.

Take a look at the TRF classifieds if you want the best deal for your money. Try on all you want at the AD, but when you buy, buy here.

Went to Tourneau on Madison and Rolex boutique (operated by Wempe) on 5th. Standard experience in terms of service. Sales rep at Wempe offered to throw in a rolex pen (worth $300 on ebay according to him), champagne, etc etc. No discounts which i wasn't suprised.

Bought my SubC from a trusted seller here instead...got it yesterday

Couldn't be happier!
