Some hint of color would make it work. That ultimately why I sold my DJ II roman dial. It got to dressy for me and I even had the oyster bracelet on it and it got to the point where I could not wear it jeans and a tee. BLNR fixed that issue. Now wonder if I will wear it with a suit as I have not worn one of those in over a year. Gotta love causal dress companies

Looks great, certainly looks sporty because of the dial... Without that dial though, I would say, no, a datejust doesn't look sporty at all whether it's on a oyster or jubilee

All white metal looks right. The rays on the dark dial and red really add to the effect. Looks very sporty in deed.
