looks good to me. Im not an expert either, but have more than my share of pams. Is it a face to face deal? I dont think I could have someone mail me a watch, unless a very trusted seller.

The swanneck is not in contact with the adjustment lever, that is not good IMHO.
What is the price on the seller?

That was my concern as well (but I'm not a watchmaker and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express), but the watch looks legit I think.

swanneck looks like it does. Maybe it's a good thing to get it verified and let a watchmaker look at the movement and timing it before buying it.

It's fine. Buy it and enjoy. Just make sure the serial number on paperwork matches the watch. For peace of mind, get it verified by a watchmaker if you lack confidence. But if you know the seller and they have a strong rep here, you should be fine. If not, don't.

There are problems with the regulator screws. The screws are too close to the edge. Here, there is no metal after the screws, as there is with authentic 111's. In my opinion, that is a tell tale sign that you are dealing with a replica.
Proceed with EXTREME CAUTION. I think it is likely a replica. |

The watch appears to be genuine, but the only thing that bothers me are the two screws near the regulator. They should be in the very center with metal around them. They don't seem very flush in your picture. That is bothersome. The 111 is highly replicated, and the replicas are becoming good. I would take additional measures to verify authenticity.
I could be wrong, but the screws bother me. |

I unfortunately bought the watch and it turns out to be fake, and here's why so everyone can learn from my mistake.
real: replica: center pin holding the second hand is off and off centered real: fake: The gold y incabloc is off and is facing the wrong way without the correct curved cutout The swan neck does not connect to the regulator The 2 regulator screws are off and not centered and very close to the edge The officine panerai blue logo is printed on instead of engraved on |

It is indeed a replica, I tried posting pictures but it has not been approved by a mod yet.

Sorry that you purchased a replica. And thank you for sharing.
I'm no expert, but is that N-serial? If so, isn't that the wrong rubber strap? And that leather is off as well, unless the seller stated it was an aftermarket strap? |

That is a N serial, the strap is indeed wrong for the series as it's supposed to have the Panerai Officine running down it instead of just the logo. I also weighed it (watch itself with no straps) and it weighs 106 grams where as the real one would weigh 109 grams.

you guys will love this, because I didn't have time to meet him at a jeweler and was willing to take a lose on the watch he is now claiming I'm the scammer and I swapped out the watch to a fake one.

He did have one guy he sold a legit pam 90 to and was willing to meet at a jeweler or wherever i wanted. I believe he thinks the watch is real. I work 6 days a week 10-7 so I dont have time to go to a jeweler

he didn't have any warranty card and everything on the bezel and back is exactly the same as on his picture so i'm not sure where he's getting that i swapped stuff out. he provided me those pictures. except the magnified ones which I couldn't do until I got to work where I had one handy.
