Good stuff, unfortunately the Irish Whiskey of the year "Midleton Dair Ghaelach" isn't available here in the states as of yet, I keep asking my perveyour and I keep being told to be patient, I'm not patient.
As for Bourbon I'm all about the W.L Weller, but the "Buffalo Trace Single Oak Project" couldn't disagree more! And as to Single Malt I wonder how our resident Doctor Brian feels about an Ardbeg reaching the pinicle of this list. "Ardberg Supernova"... What say you doc?

I haven't tried it yet but I picked up a few bottles if the Crown Royal Rye to see what the hype is about.

I'll stick to Old Pulteney 21, and the 17 ain't so bad either, and it's more available.
I'm not a fan of no age statement whisky in general. For the most part it's a way of selling younger whisky to make up for decreased supply 2/2 increased demand over the last 5-10 years. I'd buy the Rye, as I'm a rye fan, but there's none in my area at the moment and I'm not driving 3-4 hours for Crown Royal. Let's just say I'm not so sure about Mr Murray's opinions. I'm definitely a fan of Compass Box though and have/tried many of their blended malts. I did have some Uige last week though. ;)
