Year-end flurry of activity

I expected sales of newer Rolexes to jump going into the end of the year, but I've been seeing a lot of activity in the vintage market as well. Is this normal?

Are there faster and slower times of the year for vintage?

This is the first time I've been actively looking for vintage, so pretty much my first rodeo.

Usually the vintage market pretty much stops now until February as people get on with enjoying the holidays , and then catching up the bills !!! ( strangely accessory sales usually boom in January as people still need their vintage fix but can get it cheaper through straps etc

Same shutdown July / August.
