Introduction and Incoming
Good afternoon, I just wanted to introduce myself. I have learned a lot from this community but have never posted because I had not purchased my first Rolex until this past month.
On October 10th I purchased an 114060 as my first Rolex from DavidSW. This watch is very special to me as it is a culmination of a lot of hard work. This past year has been very difficult for my family but we are now on the other side of it we hope. My wife was pregnant with twins and was put on bed rest at 23 weeks gestation. At 27 weeks (13 weeks early) the twins were born and had a pretty rough first couple of weeks. After 77 days we were able to leave the NICU and since then we have been doing much better. I purchased the watch with the hope of one day passing it down to our son. (He has two older sisters, one is 3 now and one is 1 minute older than him.) The watch is to someday be a birth year memento for Will, however I waited until today, my birthday, to wear it the first time. I know that my photography skills are lacking but please find the first picture of my new all occasion watch. |

Congrats on the twins, glad to hear all is well now!
Great choice on your first. The 114060 was my first as well and will be passed down to my son as well (all though not his birth year). Happy birthday and congrats! |

Welcome to the forum and very glad things are working out for your family. Your black Sub is a great choice and will be a cherished heirloom of your son when he comes of age. Very cute picture by the way! Best wishes! Cheers!

I know that NICU struggle and it is real! We have 7 year old twin girls. One was in for 5 1/2 weeks, the other for 12 1/2 weeks. Every emotion possible in those weeks! Ours were born at 30 weeks and weighed 2 lbs 10 oz and 2lbs 9 oz at birth. The good news is that they were caught up developmentally by kindergarten. Oh, and we just added another today! Full term (37 weeks was all they would let her go) and she is a chunky healthy baby! Congrats on the Submariner and more so on the family! Enjoy them both!
