Icon14 What new Tudor Inc Basel 2017 models

Hello all Im looking at purchasing a new Tudor. I would like one day to own a nice vintage / dress / chrono / sports. I will probably all be Tudor (maybe a vintage Rolex) unless I win the lottery. I muted on here a couple months ago I was interested in buying, pre ordering the new BB chrono and was surprised at the mixed reaction and this was confirmed when reading various other opinions.
I own an Omega planet Ocean and now looking at trading in against a 79180 Big Block. I will need a diver-(to replace the PO) so either a BB or Pelagos?? or something modern more everyday quite like the North flag... At the Mo the Big block will cover the Chrono / vintage -ish 93...(until I can find a nice Tudor 7020 day date)
Can I please ask the community for a general vibe what in the range is credibale amongst the watch savvy.

Many thanks

Steve

This is all about personal choice as all of the Tudor range is credible, they are a lot of watch for the money. The Big Block is a real winner if you can find one in good condition, I personally love the Pelagos but the choice of BB's is great. Good luck in your search

I like the pictures of the new Tudor Chrono and will check it out as soon as my AD has one. I don't think you can go wrong with Tudor, I own five at the moment. If I was a younger person and just getting into collecting it would be my choice as you get a lot of watch for the money. You can also change up metal bracelets for leather straps for NATO straps. They are a lot of fun. Rolex is my brand but Tudor gets a lot of wrist time.

The new chrono got a pretty harsh reception here, but at the recent LV get together/hedonist-fest, many members were wearing it and it looks pretty good, I wouldn't write it off. Also the new SS bezel BB looked cool, check them all out.

I like the dial spacing on the 36 better for some reason. It just seems more inviting. Crown proportion much better on the 41 though. Both nice.

Big block is a good choice. I like the BB date with steel bezel among the basel 2017 releases.

I have to say, I quite like the Tudor chrono also. That said, at the price point of about 3.5k I'd look at the speedy pro too if desperate for a chronograph.
