16550?

I came across a 1984 Explorer II but was told by the seller that its 16570. I thot it should be 16550 on this year? Can the seller be mistaken and selling me a 16550 for a 16570 price? The markers are getting the nice cream look already,will get a pic to post here soon. I would appreciate inputs meanwhile.

Yes you are right.
it will be a 16550 or a late 1655 (but that is obviously not the case LOL).
The bezel should be the thicker font, which looks much better IMO than the 16570.
Here is a pic of mine although my lume has not gone cream
Great watch and quite rare considering only just over 2 years production and like now not exactly popular
