Can you afford another Rolex right now?

I hear all this stuff about the economy, and believe me, I don't discount it. It's affecting me, too. However, as of right now, today, can you afford another Rolex? I know "afford" is a relative term and that's cool, but just realize I'm not asking if you don't want to because you're worried about the future. It's anonymous, so be honest

Could but I'm pulling in all spending at this point. I've got way more toys than I really need. At this point I think cash or maybe gold is king the market sure isn't. God bless us all.

In a word NO!
Worse case scenario considering pulling the plug on the S/S Daytona, that I'm waiting for.
And at best. I'm not in any particular hurry to receive the phone call from my AD to say its arrived.
What a difference a few months and a price increase can make!!

Yeah, for the record I can but it's because I sold my SS Daytona. I certainly don't blame anyone for holding off and our ability to do so and prioritize probably has a lot to do with what's on our wrist in the first place.

HA! I don't know. I still kinda have my heart set on a day-date. I had a Porsche Boxster S, and while it was a scream to drive, I got bored within a couple of months.

People are still emailing me about the watch even though it's on its way to you. If you don't like it, I know some people who will buy it from you

Yes. I can afford one or even two, but it is not prudent.

With the way the world's economics are now it is best to wait.

Patience is a revealer of life's treasures.

I suppose I could go buy a few right now, but I don't want to empty my savings and checking accounts. I like to keep enough cash to live on for a while if something happened to my job.

I could but love to wait for the opportunity to get in the market.
I may get a GV Milgauss at MSRP if available though.

I'm waiting until the new year. We're in the process of renovating and landscaping, and let me tell you, they charge entirely too much for dirt and grass.

I might be in the market for another ride. I got bored with my last play toy with 4 wheels and I swore I'd wait a long, long time before I'd do it again.

I can but honestly, their isn't anything out their that I really want. If they had a model that I really wanted, I could buy it, but the direction Rolex is going with all the polished links and the maxi cases, I have no problem keeping my money in the bank. The way Rolex is heading, I will never buy another from a AD, they are just getting to much bling for me. I also find it hard to justify having more than a couple of watches, that's just me though apparently.

I could do it if I wanted to but I just feel that with all the current financial uncertainty its best to hold back for a while.

Same here, can buy one but just bought one in March and the other in May, so should wait for another year... I think.

With four Rolexes my next one has to be special, not just another watch. It hit me the other day that I can buy a 600/4 lens for about the same, but we all know a Rolex is an investment!

Not a problem, but I am holding off on any big purchases right now. But if I come across to good of a deal, I will pounce.
