Jacques Piccard died today
Jacques Piccard, the man who took a special Rolex to a depth 10,916 m on the outside of his bathyscaphe in the Mariana Trench in 1960, died today in Switzerland at the age of 86. He made the dive together with Don Walsh, a US Navy officer.
