SD43-126600 Waitlist Timeframe?
I am trying to locate a SD43-126600, but my local AD tells me there is a 3-4 year wait. Is this a common theme from what you guys/gals are hearing?
They have a BLRN and a Submariner 114060 in stock, and I am a little torn on what to do. Thanks! |

There seem to be a good number popping up in the US, two incomings yesterday alone, and I believe one was from a smaller US AD.
Start calling around your area and widen your circle if you can’t find one. Good luck Edit: welcome to TRF |

There is no, I repeat NO way I would wait 3-4 years for this watch. (Any watch, actually)
You can get a BNIB or LNIB from one of our TS for a few hundred over what you would pay (+ tax) at the AD. Your time is worth something. |

Sadly that’s the lay of the land these days. If you want a popular/new SS sports model you have to pay to play. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd start calling other ADs. They are out there.

I am on a waiting list with two ADs in the US. They optimistically predict 1 year’s wait time.

3-4 year wait? Call some other ADs in adjoining states. Red Sea dwellers showing up at most ADs. Get on a list or place deposit on one. This is a high profit watch for Rolex, they are pumping them out. Good luck!

I put down the required 20% at my local FL AD to have it "ordered". To manage my expectations, I was told to realistically expect about 2-3 months; however, it arrived in 2 weeks.
3-4 years sounds a bit off-putting to me. Have you purchased anything from them before? |

Your AD has done something wrong to have to wait 3-4 years to get a SD43. Best to find an AD that hasn't angered Rolex in some way to be cut off from receiving watches they could profit from selling.

No No No No No No...
The quoted 3-4yr wait time is essentially equal to BYE. The Harsh Reality: The dealer just doesn't want to deal with another person to be put on a list and bother them about an allocated watch. They have their regulars who are known spenders and will wait for one to show up. That is good enough for them. Nope, they don't care about your business and that you will take your money elsewhere.... That being said....I did hear from a small AD, off the beaten path, that they have only received (1) SD43 since summer and have received (4) SS Daytonas. Not sure if that means anything or not considering the reports of these being in display cases in other markets without a list. So, the 3-4yr wait time is ridiculous and just to get you out of the store....shop around, you may just stumble upon one or find a dealer who is willing to hook you up. |

Usually NOT being in a major metro is advantageous to being able to source a scarce reference... 3-4yrs is not even close...I have no idea why they would say that to you, especially since you are already a client. |

My AD told me today 12 people on the list with a payment to hold their spot, approximately just over a year. No BS from them, I'm current finally up to #1 on the list for a 116610LN. Houston, TX.

Walked in they had one. Sold. Actually, they had two. Got a phone call a month later to see if a friend was still interested in one since they received another.

Took 7 months on the list for me to get mine.. I think 3-4 years is BS.
