help with changing oyster band with leather strap

Hello,

I want to change my 73860 bracelet with a leather band.

See picture.

1) Do I need to buy a separate springbar or can I reuse the existing one from the bracelet?

I'm not sure if I can remove it. Any tricks?

2) . If I buy a separate springbar, do I buy a 20mm springbar configuration when the watch has a 20mm gap? Or should i buy a 19mm springbar configuration?

3) Is the springbar hole the same fitting on both end of the case hole?

Thanks so much.

1. No, you can reuse the spring bars. Provided you can get them out of the endlinks. It appears yours may be staked in, as evidenced by the two tiny dimples on the endlink.
2. If you can't remove them, get genuine Rolex springbars (20mm)
3. Yes, same size holes and fit on both sides.
Cheers!
