Newbie!

Hi All,

My name is Mike and I’ve just joined the forum, so thought it would be a good start to say hello!

I’ve always been a watch fan, has a few less expensive Tags in my early twenties, then moved onto Omegas. My current watch is a Speedmaster which I really do like, however I’ve always (and I mean always) had my mind set on getting a Rolex Sub.

I’ve been making some enquiries and crikey, there is a six to nine month waiting list at the moment!

Any tips on getting hold of one a bit quicker? I’m very impatient ans I want to avoid paying over the odds on the likes of ebay, and to be honest I’d probably be too nervous to hand over what, to me, is a huge amount of money, without certainty that it’s a genuine Rolex!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Mike

Thanks All!

I’m currently debating a PX deal on an almost new (less than a year old) 116610LN. They have agreed to take PX my Omega Speedmaster, plus £4500.

It’s such a crazy market at the moment, so hard to decide what’s reasonable. BUT, It strikes me as an OK deal, what do you all reckon?

The 116610LN has got all boxes, just over four years of warranty remaining, proof of purchase from an AD (receipt)

The Speedmaster is a beautiful watch. You could always hold out a little longer, save a few more pennies and go for an new ND Sub...and keep both!
