Opinion wanted: Flip new DJ41 for a vintage Day-Date??

Hi guys,

My grandfather had a DD 18038, which was passed down to my father and to me later on. My father and I had to sell it one point due to financial problem in the past for quick cash.

Flashback to the present: Right now, I own DJ41 and a Hulk at the moment (will add BLNR sometimes next year). However, I want opinion from you guys.

As DD holds a sentimental value to me, I currently own latest DJ41 (shown in the picture) on jubilee bracelet with champagne dial and diamond marker. I was looking for Day-Date models around that era, mainly, 18038 same that my grandfather had and 18238 with 3155 caliber. Should I flip for an DD 18238 (shown in the picture) with champagne dial with diamond marker in 36 mm?

Thank you all for your opinions.

Yes.......but not for that DD. Find one without diamond dial.
