BLRO love but unfortunately not an incoming any time soon.....

I attended a Rolex event last week to view the Baselworld 2018 releases.

Tried these two bad boys on. The BLRO was the winner for me and certainly a watch I'd like to own at some point. Fell for the jubilee bracelet in a big way......

What a great pair!

The BLRO is one of my all-time faves and that CHNR...well, let's just say it's on the short list.

To be honest I'd jump on either given the opportunity. Never been a lover of bi-metal but the everose from some angles seems to blend into the stainless steel. I was quite surprised that I liked it when I got it on the wrist.

I also tried on the 126715CHNR but didn't get a picture - ooohhh the weight!!

Nice trio. You've got them in the right order of preference for me. From left to right......

I agree. I like the TT CHNR better. Though I do wish there were a jubilee option for the TT CHNR.

Pepsi or Root Beer, either way you have a winner! That's interesting your AD was having a Baselworld 2018 event so long after. Nice they had the hot models to try on first before committing. The AD's in Canada are like a desert with absolutely nothing to see. I'm on a BLRO wait list anyways. Good luck in your watch quest. Cheers!

RG CHNR > BLRO > CHNR. I have yet to try on the RG one but every shot I’ve seen looks fantastic. The Pepsi is nice as well but until I own one I will reserve judgment since I think GMT IIs belong on an Oyster.

The RG GMT is a total heavy hitter rivaling the gold Bluesy imo. I also think it’s more versatile and perhaps even understated as much as a gold sports watch can be.

I think that both of those are absolutely awesome, but for me the CHNR takes the cake. They both look great on you!

Absolutely. I've got no issue waiting in line. All good things come to those that wait and I'm prepared to wait. At MSRP

Coincidentally I got a positive message today from my AD salesman saying they’ve delivered a couple more BLRO’s and I’ve moved up in line a couple of places. Early next year I hope.
Always weird to think though that after Basel next spring it will all start over again with something else.

If given the choice, I would probably lean towards the CHNR. The only TT watch that caught my eye. But that could change in a heartbeat. Both winners
