King Of The Road

Whether you love the classic simplicity of the original GMT, the useful features and versatility found on the GMT II [my personal favorite], or the upgrades introduced on the new GMT IIc the Rolex GMT is the crowned "King of The Road!"
I've had the pleasure of using my 16710 to navigate halfway around the globe and many cities in the USA. Plus a very handy tool when dealing with clients and vendors from across many timezones while working at home.
Sub owners are asked if they dive. So, GMT owners, do you travel?
Here's a few of mine:
Narita
Guam
Honolulu
London
Miami
New York
Paris

My first GMT II 16710 is on its way. Should be here next week, and it will TRAVEL!!!

One of the great things about this timepiece is that I will be able to use the GMT function every day. I work with a bunch of guys from Mumbai on our team and it will be nice to know what their time is at a glance instead of having to figure it out mentally. They are 12 1/2 hours ahead of us here and that extra 1/2 hour drives me crazy.

Wish I thought to take wrist shots on my first major travel with my GMT-IIc - Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. It's difficult to get good shots holding the heavy Canon SLR in one hand. The lens just doesn't focus that close...

It's so nice to use the quickset hour hand for local time, and turn the bezel for home time using the 24-hr hand.

Just something so special about getting to use the watch for it's true intended purpose.

Haven't taken any wrist shots, but my GMT-II has been to

Sweden, Finland, Russia (St. Petersburg and Moscow), Tallin, Estonia, Copenagen, Denmark, Amsterdam, Italy (Verona, Venice, Milan, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimingano, La Spezia, Porto Vennerre, Rome), London, Paris, Frankfort, Munich, Heidelburg, Toronto, and Medellin, Columbia.

Those are all I remember off the top of my head.
