DJ 36 issue...

Hi All, Happy Sunday!

Two days ago I bought a brand new DJ 36 Rhodium dial with rose gold; perfect addition to my SubC.

There was an issue inside of the easy link, it was super loose (noticed this around 3 hours after buying Friday morning). So I trekked back uptown to RSC in NYC, and they said the clamp inside the easy link was faulty and they would order a new one covered under warranty - ya think??? IT WAS BRAND NEW. I said no worries, sounds good. I then walked over to Wempe where I purchased it and explained what happened. The President came out and was kind enough to swap the part RSC ordered from another rose gold jubilee bracelet in the display case..... suffice to say I was PLEASED.

Anyway, I was walking home that night and realized in a different light there were already major swirls on my watch clasp. I think so many people touched it within 6 hours it was handled so rough. Does anyone think I should go back tomorrow to Wempe and make a stink about it? I would have gone yesterday or today, but I had way too many prior engagements this weekend; haven’t wore the watch since Friday night.

Need your advice!

That sucks that happened, at least they switched out the bracelet. If it were my watch, I would see if those swirls would just rub out with a microfiber cloth and if they didn't go away, take it back. Spending that much money on a brand new watch, it should work perfectly and not have any visual flaws...

It STINKS - tried microfiber, the swirls are in there even when I washed with warm water and soap.

Did you cancel out RSC?
I would still have them order the part and replace it with Them

The part they replaced is on the underside of the clasp, not the top gold polished part.

It was the last link that connects to the extension link.

Essentially from so many people handling in such a short time, these swirls appears some how...

Then I would definitely have the AD replace the clasp
I would be furious if they did not make it right
