I apologize if this thread has already been discussed but I'm curious to know what predictions you guys think are coming?

Only thing I’m concerned with is changes to SS Sub or removal of red text from SD43. I recently sold my every day piece and awaiting one of these.

why would you wait for a SD43 without the red text?

As I stated above, I hate the red, I like monotone everything, ocd about it if you will. I don’t think it looks fluid.

Different strokes for different folks

I have one stashed away untouched. I'm going to keep it hidden in the safe until my kid is 18. He's 3 now

I literally brought this up with my AD last week, wanting to be first on his list if it were announced. He emphatically said NO CHANCE! In his words... OysterFlex’s purpose is to keep the costs of precious metal models reasonable. It’ll never be offered on stainless steel, no matter how much sense it makes.

For everybody who wants a Daytona with date or perhaps a bigger diameter: please look somewhere else. Other manufacturers have great bigger chronographs with date.
The Daytona is THE ultimate icon because of what it is for more then 45 years.

Basel 2020

My thoughts:
- Root Beer models introduced on jubilee; oyster models discontinued
- DJ36 "turn-o-graph" reintroduced to play off of the heightened demand for "sport" models
- Milgauss updated to reflect older models with rotating bezel (same rationale as above point)
- Sub updated with new movement and more tapered lugs
- Air King dial updated to no longer include 3-5-9 with a true "B" dial
- WG "Coke" GMT on oyster

All of my yes ! It'd be hard to choose which one to buy if all three were on offer

I’ve been wrong many times about a lot of things, but I do not understand why people think the Submariner line will get more tapered lugs any time in the foreseeable future. New movement I get, case re-design for 2020 ... no.

I tho k people believe that because the Datejust and the GMT received more tapered lugs recently

2021 is the 50th anniversary of Explorer II. I don’t think Rolex will make any change in 2020.

Removing red text on SD50? I wouldn’t say impossible, but improbable.

Haha nah, just rebuy another sub to resell Jan/Feb 2021 if nothing pans out. I highly doubt they don’t release the 126610LN before then as practically every other model has gotten the updated movements now. I also believe they held off to give the SD more sales.

Yeah completely agree, that’s more of a long shot for me. I’m just ocd about my watches being monotone, I hate the red, I know some people love it though.

A YG jubilee GMT would be awesome and very welcome. A hot seller for sure.

€1.50 Beer and pretzels.

I’m not buying if they’re €20 again. Fancy mustard or not.

I know its all speculation and no one truly has a clue except top Rolex employees but its fun to see where everyone sees the brand going.

Discontinued or updated Hulk?

Improvements to the Explorer II?

Discontinue any other models?

Will they introduce anymore models in two-tone or a precious metal that hasn't been done before?

What improvement or discontinuation would you most like to see?

There will be....watches. Other than that. No one has any clue until announcement day.

I foresee a lot of heartache and grief as people scramble to get their name down for yet more hot models. Posts of anguish bemoaning the long waiting lists for whatever slightly modified watch Rolex bring out.
