Tools to remove the oyster strap from datejust 36mm ref. 1262XX?
Hi,
I have a Rolex DJ 36mm, ref 126200. I did some research on the web and found that the Bergeon 6767-F as the tool to remove the spring bar. I recevied the Bergeon 6767-F today but it doesn't seem to fit... Has anyone successfully removed the oyster strap from a DJ 36mm (1262XX) before and if yes, which tool did they use? |

On my jubilee bracelet, i actually use the fork of 6767 horizontally rather than vertically. It worked. Good luck.

I fell for the same trick my self. Rolex reduced the size of the opening on six digit models (presumably to frustrate consumers). The 6767f no longer fits. The 7825 fits though and is very effective even in my clumsy mitts.

Bergeon 7825 spring bar Tweezers is what you need. The other one you can use is the Horofix spring bar Tweezers which is less expensive.

Thanks!
Thank you for all the responses. So it's the Bergeon 7825 or the Horofix spring bar tweezers. I hope this helps other people who want to change their DJ 36mm bracelet. By the way I ordered the Everest rubber strap, can't wait to try them on once I receive them

Mind sharing a pic of your watch with the new strap?
I got exactly the same watch and I’m thinking of doing the same! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The band is on its way, I'll post a picture once I receive it. I got the Bergeon 7825 and it works perfectly with my Rolex. And although I've never tried to remove the bracelet using the non-tweezer type tool, I would say the tweezer type tool is very easy to work with.

I received the band today but unfortunately the bands to not fit the DJ 126200... The distance between the spring bar hole and the end of the strap that touches the watch is just a little too wide and there is no way this fits even when following the installation video on their website. I sent them an email, hopefully I get a helpful response...

I received the band today and was excited for a while but unfortunately the band doesn't fit my DJ 126200. The distance between the spring bar hole on the band and the end-of-the-band is just a little too wide... I followed the instructions on their website for installation and there is no way the band just snaps to the watch. I sent them an email so hopefully I get some useful response....

I have been in contact with the customer service from Everest, they have told me that they are going to send me a new set of bands. Hopefully the new one that I receive; hopefully soon; will fit.

Received a new pair of bands and was able to fit them. Personally I like how it looks and the watch is overall lighter which is a plus for me.
