I think in the non-WIS community there’s more demand for the Date model. However, I think I’ve read on the forums an estimate that Rolex makes one Submariner (without Date) for every 5 Submariner Date.
While both are mass produced, the Submariner might be a bit tougher to come by at an AD? |

Why is the DJ 41 considered a sport watch but not the DateJust 36?
And no Explorer?? Like any list, it's fun to debate the order, but let's get all the right players on the list

Explorer I is not on the list. I don’t know about this order, but yachtmaster 2 is the easiest watch to obtain from my experience. That’s the only sports watch that I always see displayed.

Anyone can make up a list and call it anything they want for any time period they want.

They left off the only YM that should be on the list.

It is funny he listed a DJ as a sports model but I don't take the list too seriously. All in all, I bet it's fairly accurate. At least gives you a good idea.

Why does this even matter? How would it ever be proven right or wrong?
I don’t know what youtube watch blabbers came up with this, but it seems silly and worthless. Heck they included DJ as a sports model and forgot explorer 1 so.... Ask for the watch you actually like the best. Forget about what is hard or not hard to get. End story Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

With all due respect, I would challenge that list slightly. AD allocation of the Yellow Gold Green Dial Daytona and Blue Sky Dweller may be less, however, based on the competitive landscape for the Black/White Ceramic Daytonas, I am led to believe that both are still harder to get your hands on at retail.

Interesting! For those saying they disagree, remember that this is probably on average across all markets and YMMV a lot across different ADs and cities.

Where's the Explorer? For the purposes of discussion I'd probably slot that between the Airking and Deepsea based on my experience.
