April Fool's from Moser

I realized today was April 1st, and I thought, "Doesn't Moser have a sense of humor, and usually does something for April Fool's"
So, I got on there website, and sure enough.
Well, here it is.

Revisiting H. Moser & Cie.’s minimalistic yet striking Endeavour collection, this model is the result of a collaboration with seconde/seconde/ accentuating the signature concept dials the brand has become known for.
An Endeavour Centre Seconds watch in steel and Funky Blue fumé dial, the hour hand has been replaced by an eraser reiterating the removal of the indices and logo. Available exclusively online, it is limited to just 20 pieces and includes a framed artistic rendering of the watch along with the original Endeavour hour hand.

From Moser, id completely believe they would put this one out as a real product, they have a minute repeater without hands? Half their watches have no marks for the hours or minutes, they don’t care much for actually telling the time.

Love the general aesthetics, but if you can’t tell the time on a watch, it’s a non-starter for me.

When you time travel, does the time of the day really matter?

I wish we'd stop April Fools. It's such a bore, year over year.

News sites should not do April Fools. Period.

This is why I'm not sure Moser has true staying power. When 90% of your product launches are cheap gimmicks to chase column inches, your whole brand ends up reeking of cynicism.

They should stick to the honest, knock-out horology like the Streamliner series and stop with this rubbish.

Cheap gimmicks?
Rubbish?

This is a pretty bold statement Sir...

Moser is one of a few independent brands trying to keep the watch game a bit interesting. Their movements are great for the price point, vs. other more know brands who just pack in a Valjoux a Sellita or an ETA clone...

I personally buy into the brand story of irreverence to Swiss watch making while at the same time making some of the best Haute Horlogerie products.

I love this watch. Just love it. The Endeavour is a great watch stand-alone. The dial is just one of the best in the whole industry. Period. If you add the collaboration with Seconde / Seconde a renowned French artist, it's just great. + the normal hour hand comes extra so you actually have a stand-alone Moser Endeavour watch, in stainless steel with blue dials. A classic collector.

This is an amazing product from an amazing brand, not only looking to resell the 145th iteration of a Genta piece or trying to reengineer a new one.
