Feels like I won the Rolex lottery

I am not sure if I was just lucky, or had perfect good timing, but I inquired about the 126610LV on 2/14/23. I get a text from the AD on 2/15/23 saying congrats, one came in the shipment and its all yours if you want it.... I said YESS with the quickness!!!

Did I just win the rolex lottery?????

Has anyone else felt like they hit the lottery when they buy a watch they really wanted?

Huge congrats! A few 12LVs this week, one of the best sports models out there. Is it really happening? Not so much the lottery for me, had to do some serious emailing and reminding for mine!

Two posts, five years apart, both same story

OP walks into AD, gets desirable sports watch, then announces to TRF

No, this does not seem genuine

What's even more crazy 5 yrs ago when I bought my ceramic sub, I first bought a pre-owned 16610... and didn't like it, it felt to light, like I was going to break it. That was my 1st time ever trying on a rolex, I walked in and walked out with a rolex. The AD had a 7 day return policy so I took it back and exchanged it for the 116610LN. lol..

But to be fair, 5 years ago you could actually do that lol...

I try.
I can get close for that one split second then the light changes and it gleams in a different area and it’s green hue changes slightly. It’s like trying to hit a beautiful moving target.
The LVc is a stunner.

Huge score. What generally happens when Rolex watches gets released to the public is a small group of a particular model is released at one time. This happens in cycles so one month it may be a BLRO and the next month it may be the LVc, etc…

It’s a stunner for sure. I love mine.

The cogs of Rolex buyers are seizing-up along with overall consumer spending.
