Rolex Lucky Draw GMT 126718GRNR

So my AD moved location into a more swanky part of the city, grand opening with food and drinks, fantastic event with lots of guest. At the end of the event, a number of sports models were available for immediate purchase via lucky draw. 5 LHD GMT sprite, 3 SS daytona and 1 jubilee GMT. The AD owner even invited the catering chef for the event what watch he wanted. Of course he said a Daytona. and he was allocated a Daytona on the spot for purchase! Classy act. I was hoping for a sprite but was drawn for a GMT gold
Obviously the wife wasn’t that pleased when I got home
So crazy things do happen when u least expect it

Lovely watch. I would find it a really awkward position in to be it though if I didn’t particularly want the GMT I would of felt obliged to buy it lol.

Big congrats to you. Also that's so nice of the AD to allocate the catering chef a SS Daytona.

Wow, that's pretty cool! A big congrats!! You really hit the "jackpot". There were multiples of the other models but only 1 of these, and you got it! The full gold GRNR GMT is my favorite out of the new releases. Looks amazing!

That's the first time I had ever heard of a lucky draw event like this. I wish they would have something like that around here at my local AD's. Definitely another level of excitement for the event!

Seems like I need an AD in Hong Kong! Nice way to score the GRNR. I had one in my wrist and can’t wait to add one to the collection. Special piece.

We are all truly Watch Idiot Savants when we consider others "lucky" to get called upon to spend $40k+.

Obviously saying that in jest, and congrats OP - I would've pulled the trigger myself as well!

Pretty much the point I was scrolling down to make.

It’s a sad day when the competition prize from a shop is being allowed to buy something!!
