I am torn between these two. I am leaning towards the SD, as it has a clean unmagnified date, SEL, non-drilled lugs and of course it's discontinued. I'm a holiday diver every few years so it will not be used for diving.

Does the 14060(M) have drilled lugs and non-SEL?

Do they both have hollow bracelets?

Anything I am missing?

I have a GMT IIc so that's why I am looking at something with a cleaner dial and crystal.

OK, so drilled lugs, Rehaut engraving, hollow end links on the 14060. Other than the SEL vs HEL, are the bracelets (other than perhaps the dive extension) the same?

I have to local AD's that both have one SD in stock. What type of discount should I be able to expect?

Which one do like the best? Also which one feels better? I bought the SD with no regrets. Both are great classics! Ron

The have both a Certified and non-certified 14060, to make the choice harder. I am leaning toward the SD for sure but the non-certified clean dial is pretty smokin too.

to make it even harder..the talk is that the Certified one MAY (and that's a BIG MAY) be more collectible in the future (no idea on timeline) as if the SS Ceramic Sub gets introduced..the COSC ND Sub may have been a short run...but there is still a lot of them around and you should not consider this in your decision....

and really...recent Rolex are not collectible...buy whatever one makes you smile...

it would all depend on how much "heft" you'd want on your wrist. with 14060m, you can use it as a daily beater coz its light on the wrist; but with an sd.. if its heft you want, its heft you'll get... stl.. its your choice

It's easy to get crazy collecting these things.

chillviper, re your question on discount, 10% was the best I heard recently from any AD that had a new SD in stock, several I talked with had no SDs to sell
