What would you choose?

Hey guys,

I know both watches are as different as light and day but would you go for?

118238 DD champagne dial or 126655 YM RG.

Some watches I have in my collection include Panda DaytonaC, Pepsi and Tiffany OP.

I have had the 12838 before but sold it and always fancied the solid gold link model but equally I have a soft spot for the YM on rubber being such a stealth wealth piece that can be a daily.
Currently I have no PM pieces.

TIA for opinions.

I might vote for DD if it were in the 40mm. But in this scenario, I vote for YM.

The Yacht Master is 50/50 sporty and still suitable for dressed up occasions.
The yellow gold Day Date 36 is 80% dress watch to me.
So it depends on how you want to use it.

If you are going for the PM experience then DD. Watchwise I'll personally choose the YM because it's a better looking watch for me.

Two of my favorite PMs.... I would start with the DD and then the YM, but be sure to get both.

What would you choose?

Yachtmaster is my favorite, I just don’t think it’s worth the price considering the oyster flex.

Day date for me.

Day date. Gold watches with rubber bracelets are hideous. Probably the biggest con Rolex has pulled is convincing people to pay 30k for a gold watch head with a rubber bracelet.

Both great watches but I'd go DD. I'd got with silver dial personally. Had the Champagne dial in the past and it was too much gold

I don’t find gold with rubber straps appealing at all. DD wins this one.
