Show us ya tree!

Mine I think it looks better in real life, whenever we travel we buy trinkets to hang on the tree this year we added some nordic ones from Iceland etc.

Still can't put glass ornaments on the tree with this nutjob who refuses to grow up and become less fun.

Yep Bill, been there too. I recommend securing your tree to the walls with 50# fishing line in four corners, then let the nutjob's climb at will.

LOL. Been there Bill. We used to hang a small bell inside to give us a clue when he would try to climb it. One night I hear it constantly ringing. I walked into the living room just in time to see the tree doing a face plant on the floor. That was the end of the bell and the beginning of an anchor system.

Wife insists this is completed on Dec 1st. Every ornament is from somewhere in the world we travelled to. It's the first thing she looks for when we're on a vacation. Drives me nuts until it's been secured.

Believe me, it's been tied to little eye hooks hidden under the window sills every year since I first found this little guy.
My bride has committed to downsizing to a smaller tree next year. I don't know how much of that decision was based on Teddy the cat.

How many people do more than one tree now?

I see that's a thing these days.

One of my clients had 4 trees, and a company that comes in and decorates the trees and the whole of the inside of the house.

We’ve done two trees as long as I can remember. Now my wife is asking me to do a third tree in the kitchen.

Happy holidays everyone!!

We're empty nesters now. But we had two trees for years when our kids were young. One in the entry foyer and one in the family room. That seems like ancient history now.

We used to have one big tree and several smaller ones (posted the big tree pics in last year's thread). Our current house doesn't have the room for a big tree so the "smaller" trees have taken over. I stopped counting at 15. Here are some of them in the master, sitting room, and dining room.

Standard Fair CT stuff with the additional CB Tree that my wife sets out right by the front door. I think she uses this as some sort of filter - those that get it and those that don't (or ignore it).

The tree looks great. I think it's your house that is leaning.
